She was so kind and compassionate throughout. It never felt rushed, and she guided us through every step with such care. I wanted a home visit because my cats are house cats, and my sweet Buffy, who had been diagnosed with lymphoma a couple of months earlier, deserved to leave this world where she was most comfortable. I struggled deeply with knowing if I was doing the right thing, even though in my heart I knew it was. Helen’s reassurance and gentle approach meant so much in that moment. Saying goodbye to our lovely jack russell Jake was never going to be easy, he was a character and a half who was loved by almost everyone that met him. The whole experience, though heartbreaking, was also strangely beautiful and deeply profound.
