She provides a service no-one ever wants to call on but when you need her she is there with kindness and understanding. Her professionalism and sensitivity meant we understood what was happening but she was able to keep our boy and his needs at the heart of it all. Our hardest goodbye was made calm and peaceful, and at home, where he felt most comfortable. We are indebted to her for all her help at the hardest of times. Even from the first contact when she asked if it was ok to call me, she showed endless compassion right through the whole process. I was in quite a state and she was very understanding and calming. Helen also helped coordinate his cremation, taking his favourite blanket and toys to join him, and sent the most beautifully written card the day after. I honestly can't recommend her enough. We can't thank Helen enough, as very sad as it was, she treated our dog Smiffy, with care, thoughtfulness, tenderness and us with compassion, told us every step of the way what she was doing, even leaving us to say our goodbyes, it made the death of our loved dog easier for us, would highly recommend, going through peaceful paws vet, when it's time for your animal to leave this life, he was then taken to Forget Me Not pet crematorium by Helen, and we were informed when he arrived. Just could not fault one thing. Thank you so so much Helen Ann and Steve Rapscallion11/11/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Helen was amazing helping us through our loss of Roxi. We had time to spend with her at the end to say goodbye and it didn't feel transactional. Doing this at home gave us a cherished memory we couldn't expect otherwise. claire hawkins08/11/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having made the difficult decision that the time had come for us to say goodbye, to our beautiful cat Coco, we needed to find an at home solution as we did not want to go into a vets. We are all so pleased Helen was able to support us. Her kindness, compassion and gentle approach, ensured Coco left us, while at home, in our arms, surrounded by love. She was calm and peaceful. Helen could not have been kinder and we will always be grateful, that she made such a dreadful time for us all, as gentle and calm as possible. I have no hesitation in recommending her. I’ve been meaning to write a review since we had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Nelson just over 4 weeks ago. It was the most difficult and heartbreaking decision and I am so grateful I found Helen and that she was able to help us. Helen was so kind and supportive throughout the whole process and her compassion and genuine care meant so much to us. We miss Nelson so much but I want to thank Helen from the bottom of our hearts as she undoubtedly made a really hard time a little bit better and helped create the best possible environment for Nelson to pass peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. There are so few options now as vets are so busy and often are no longer able to offer home visits. Many people, myself included, find it so hard to visit the vets for this final visit, it is much nicer and less stressful for all concerned to have the option to say goodbye in your home environment if at all possible. As a fellow vet I have worked and known Helen for many years. She works with compassion and empathy putting her client’s and their pets' needs first. I have no hesitation recommending her care during this difficult time for your family
