EXCELLENT Based on 118 reviews Posted on Raven Rave19/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Helen was wonderful. We had made the right decision for Harry, our old Golden Retriever, but it was still absolutely heartbreaking. Helen helped with her wonderful support, sympathetic attitude and so very caring. What I was dreading actually turned out to be beautiful because it was right for Harry and not stressful. Harry was ready to cross over to Rainbow Bridge and Helen supported us through this. I would very highly recommend Helen.Posted on Matt Mac14/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Following a long illness it finally became time to say goodbye to my beloved cat. I contacted Helen who was very sympathetic on the phone and agreed to attend the home the same day. The actual visit could not have been a more gentle good bye and Helen was exceptional generous with her time and support. In the future I will always call Helen first.Posted on Joyce Hallett11/04/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had to say our goodbyes to our beloved dog Bruno . This was one of the hardest decisions we had to make as a family. We are truly heart broken but we knew our furry family member was getting weak. From the very first contact with Helen she was amazing. Helen came to our house and supported us through the process. Helen explained everything in a truly compassionate manner. Helen gave us the time respect and privacy that we needed at this very sad and difficult time . Bruno was treated with the upmost dignity.Posted on Emma Greenhow23/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Helen is absolutely wonderful. Saying goodbye to my beloved 18.5 year-old cat was always going to be hard when the time came. I had to decide fairly quickly and Helen came the next day. She was so kind and caring and took her time so that the whole process, although very sad, was also very peaceful and loving. You can instantly feel how much she loves and respects the deep bond we have with our pets and knows how special our last moments are. She explained everything clearly and what would/could happen and performed each injection skilfully and gently. Helen really is such a gift at this emotionally difficult time and every pet parent and family supported by her is very blessed. Helen also gave some very thoughtful aftercare which shows just how much she cares. Home euthanasia isn’t cheap but Helen is worth every penny for that special goodbye and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her xPosted on Tracey K17/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Helens service. A very difficult decision was made much easier by her caring and compassion throughout. If you can have such a thing as a lovely nice passing this was it. At no time did I feel.it was wrong or that Kelly was in any pain. It wasn't rushed at all and as a very elderly dog felt right that it happened in her own home. I am impressed that Helen has followed up with us after as well to make sure we are OK and has provided grief resources should we need them. The difference between this experience and it taking place at a vet surgery are world's apart.Posted on Leslie Williams06/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Helen’s services for our beloved dog Rocky, and as this was the first time we had ever lost a pet, we truly didn’t know what to do. After speaking with two other companies, we found Helen to be incredibly friendly, compassionate, and informative. She took the time to explain everything clearly and immediately put us at ease during such a difficult time. Losing Rocky was heartbreaking, but Helen handled everything with such care and respect that the whole process felt peaceful and beautifully done. Her kindness and professionalism meant a great deal to us and helped make an incredibly hard moment a little easier. We would highly recommend Helen’s services to anyone going through the loss of a beloved pet. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Rocky Will & KatePosted on louisa jefferies06/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having made the hardest but kindest decision for our much loved 15 year old Pug, Doogie we knew we wanted him to pass peacefully at home with us. We feared we were not far from the point that he would suffer a rushed emergency trip to the vets a place he hated to be. Doogie had an amazing 15 years as our best friend, who travelled with us for a year across Europe in a campervan. We had to let Doogie leave this world in an amazing way and Helen was amazing. Doogie sat on the sofa with us in his favourite spot, wrapped in a blanket while eating sausages and cheese almost up to the moment he took his last breath. Helen explained the whole process and showed so much love care and kindness to us all. Having Doogie in his home surrounded by us and absolutely no stress. He had no idea and he slipped away so peacefully. We gave him the greatest life and Helen helped us give him the greatest passing. Thank you 🙏Posted on Gerri Hill06/03/2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would very much recommend Helen and Peaceful Paws. We recently had our sweet 17 year old cat put to sleep. She was quite a nervous cat and Helen was extremely careful to make sure she wasn’t stressed or worried at any point. She also explained everything to us clearly so we knew what was happening at each stage and gave us time and privacy throughout the process. She managed to keep my cat cosy at home in her bed/cat cave the whole time and I don’t think my dear girl even noticed what was happening and just gently drifted off to sleep. It was the perfect end for her and has helped us a great deal with saying goodbye knowing she was sent off peacefully to dream her kitten dreams. Thankyou Helen for doing a wonderful job for us and more importantly for our dear Cookie.
